RIVER BOATS
A riverboat is a watercraft designed for inland navigation on lakes, rivers, and artificial waterways. As such they are generally designed and built with a shallow draft to allow them to maneuver and operate in rivers and other areas where water is shallow. As these vessels are not built for the open seas, they can be built from lighter materials.
